"Sunlit Pond", a textile collage with roughly 120 pieces, was the result of five sketches, two or three photos and many hours, to catch the simple burbling of water in a lily pond near Saint John.

I can understand the ancient alchemists as I watch water ripples form, dissolve, and reform endlessly, a liquid that can be a gas that can become a solid.
